USTC gets hit with overnight ice storm; "All Hands to the Pumps!"
(Downingtown, PA) — For a while there it didn't look like FC DELCO or PA Classics would get their first game of the Academy League season in last week when the Downingtown area was hit with a freak overnight ice storm. At 8:00 Sunday morning, the turf field at the United Sports Training Center was covered with 2" of ice and only a skeleton crew on board for the relatively light schedule of winter events.
