Welcome to the Features chapter
The Features chapter is divided into three main subchapter. They are the Training Table, By The Book and Fitness Room. The FC DELCO 91B are very fortunate to have three highly-talented individuals offer to help our athletes maximize their potential.
The Training Table is a column written by MariaElena Murray, ATC, a certified athletic trainer with the National Athletic Trainers Association. In her column, Maria will discuss many issues revolving around preventing, evaluating and rehabilitating athletic injuries. Additionally, she will discuss important aspects of athletic performance such as, hydration, post-exercise nutrition, sleep; All with a mind towards maximizing athletic potential.
The Fitness Room is a periodic column written by our Development Academy staff providing guidance on such things as conditioning, speed, agility, etc.
The Nutrition Center is an column written by guest columnists that are certified nutritionists. The initial column presents a lot foundation material as well as some specific guidelines around pre- and post-exercise nutrition.
